What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?
For me, it can look different day to day. Sometimes it means genuinely resting, regardless of what the day looks like. Other times, it’s being intentional about checking in with how I’m really feeling. I try to do small things that I enjoy on days when it feels especially hard. I also refer back to the plan I developed years ago with my therapist when I need extra support. And generally, I just try—try being the operative word—to get enough sleep, eat well, and spend time with people I love. I think the most important thing is knowing when to rest.
